Vieleicht eine Alternative oder als Ergänzung von Pear. Es klingt auf jeden Fall vielversprechend. Es sollen damit robustere PHP Anwendungen möglich sein.

Das Framework ist in nun der Release Variante 1.0 erschienen und ist dankenswerter Wiese in BSD-Lizenz erhältlich. Die Features klingen vielversprechend:

Es gibt auch einige Demos und Tutorials die man auf jeden Fall einmal austesten sollte. Als Mindestanforderung ist die PHP Version 5.1.4 erforderlich.
